Wood Guitar Slide, Purple Heart.
Standard size guitar slide length with 3/4” ID finger hole.
Outside surface is flame hardened to bring out the brilliant purple of the Purple Heart wood. It’s been sanded and polished to a 2500 grit finish. Purple Heart is naturally extremely hard, but will lose the bright color if left in direct sunlight for long periods of time (weeks). The slide has been conditioned with Teak Oil, but no other finishes that will come off on the strings.
Each slide is hand made in Middle Tennessee at the Turning Ideas workshop.
Custom length, inside and outside diameter size on request.
