This is an auction for a 1998 Lost in Space Robot by Trendmasters. It is 24”.
I bought this Lost in Space robot when it came out. I’ve had it a very long time. Overall the robot itself is in excellent condition. However below are a few minor issues.
First all 4 buttons on the remote control work. But it does not have its battery cover.
Next the robot speaks but doesn’t light up or flash when you push one button.
A second button makes the robot move forward. One wheel does not turn underneath when you push it. So the robot turns in a circle. But the wheel does work when you push a third button to make the robot spin. The fourth button is to speak into the remote’s microphone. When you speak you can hear your voice come through the robot. This does work.
One battery compartment had corrosion from batteries. I cleaned it to the best of my ability. 4 springs are no longer in the compartment.
The other battery compartment is in much better condition with a small amount of rust around one spring.
Since the springs were gone in one battery compartment I was able to test the robot by adding pieces of cardboard to the four batteries. This helped them make a successful connection.
The Lost in Space Robot comes with its directions. It’s arms pop out when you push a button and it has a secret compartment.
Please email if you have any questions.
