Pretty Jumeau Tete Bisque 24-1/2" Doll #11, French Label Body, Restored Head

Pretty Antique Jumeau Tete Closed-Mouth Bisque 24-1/2" Doll #11, French Labeled Body, with Restored Head. Made in France by Jueau et Cie between 1885-1895, this rare doll has the most gorgeous dark brown stationery paperweight eyes, with delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes, and thick brown, multi-stroke eyebrows. Her short dark brown human hair wig is thought to be original, while her cardboard pate is a replacement. A second gorgeous wig of dark brunette human hair in a longer, wavy style is available for sale if you are interested. Please see photos of both wigs.
She is on a fully jointed French Bebe Jumeau paper-mache and wood body with jointed wrists. Back of her head is stamped in red:  "Depose / Tete Jumeau / S.D.G.D. / 11" and the typical visible Jumeau checkmark. Back of body is marked with an oval-shaped paper label that reads:  "Bebe Jumeau / Diplome d/Honneur." She is dressed in a fabulous antique white cotton dress with stylish dropped waist of the period. She wears an antique white cotton, lace-trimmed slip and adorable antique cotton panties, with off-white silk stockings. Her shoes are missing. Included is a beautiful white cotton and lace chemise that is probably factory original and came with her. She is a stylish little Parisian mademoiselle that would make any collector proud. This is your chance to get this very expensive doll at a quite reasonable price.
Unfortunately, this beautiful doll's head was broken and has been professionally restored, so well done that is almost invisible. Please see photos. The original finish body is worn at her bottom and joints, paint is flaked at knees, elbows, toes and fingers. Please see photos.
