    Description

    Our Mesquite smoke powder is made by burning wood to make a pure smoke of the flavor. The smoke is condensed and dried into a powder using Maltodextrine carrier. The flavor is very intense; but, much better flavor than the nasty liquid smoke that we used to use. I would recommend that you use from one tablespoon to 1 1/2 tablespoon to 10 pounds of sausage to start. This is a premium product and you should start light, keep records of how much you used and the flavor you got from it. Add to your cures, BBQ rubs and even baked beans. You want a sweet smoke flavor and not a overpowering taste. This is the smoke used by professionals and you can be one of them.
    It comes in a high barrier bag that can be zipped up tight or place in a glass jar with a tight lid to keep for a long period of time. Smoke powder will draw moisture and get hard if left open to the air.
