    Description

    This uncirculated 100 million Hungarian B.-pengo banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Hungarian National Bank). It is a gray and blue banknote that bear the signatures of Propper Sandor, Oltvanyi Imre, and Farago Lajos, and measures 159 mm x 79 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of a girl and a diagonal black overprint. Its reverse side portrays a view of the Parliament Building in Budapest. The banknote does not have a security thread or a watermark. It is also part of the B.-pengo (billion pengo) series issued in 1946 to address hyperinflation. The note was demonetized on 31 July 1946.
