Gorgeous Retired 2006/2007 American Girl Josefina Doll in Box

Gorgeous retired Josefina doll from the American Girl Historical collection, in original box and outfit.
Josefina was purchased new in either 2007 or 2008 (I can't remember) from a buyer at the American Girl Benefit Sale in Madison, WI. After that, she was only ever displayed by an adult collector in a smoke-free home. As a result, she is in excellent condition.
Josefina's body and face are what drew me to her - though she is a Mattel doll (her neck is marked "American Girl," and her lashes are Mattel lashes," she has a chubby, Pleasant Company-like body, and her face also seems a bit rounder and feels like its color is a bit softer, like the older, late-90s Josefinas. She always fit in with my older PC girls far more than my newer Mattel gals. I actually don't really want to let her go, but I need the room and I'm sure someone else will love to have her - she's lovely!
Josefina can stand on her own, though her legs are not quite as tight as her arms. In addition, though it does not seem to affect her movement in any way, there is a rattle inside her right arm. She also has a tiny "x" on her bottom from where she was marked as a warehouse sale doll (see pic.)
Her hair is soft and silky and in its original hairstyle; it was never removed from its braid and includes its original ribbon and primroses. Her earrings are bright gold and show no sign of fading or tarnishing.
Josefina's original skirt, camisa, sash, and drawers are in like new condition, with no stains, rips, or fraying. Her shoes are almost like new, with the exception of one spot on the bottom of one shoe where there is a bit of sticker residue.
Josefina comes with her original box, which is in very good shape, but has a couple of dings to it, as to be expected from 13 years of storage and moving from place to place. She also comes with an original "Meet" pamphlet, and her hangtag describing haircare. Her book is not included, however.
