Models I, VI, IV, XJ & XL. Plus Parts
"We know of no other receiver that will consistently bring in long distance broadcasting comparable to [the Model XL]"
Here is another FIND from one of my over 500 boxes of books, ephemera and just stuff. It took 60+ years to accumulate these treasures, and each week, I retrieve a dozen or so boxes from my storage units and post some selected items on eBay.
Included are:
Model I and Crystal Detector
Models VI and VI Special
Model IV Two Stage Amplifier
Model XJ and Battery Cabinet
Model XL and Stand
Plus over a dozen different Crosley components to assemble your own set.
A kit is offered, the Model 3-A, for a 1-tube set.
The photos tell the story of the contents of this great brochure.
8" x 11", folds out to 11" x 24". Folds to 3 5/8" x 8" to be mailed. (The 1-cent stamp is still affixed.)
Good condition, but a bit dirty at a few folds, and archival tape repairs have been made at the vertical folds. The tape can be barely seen in Photos 6, 7 & 8.
This 98-year old pamphlet is great for the 1920s Crosley radio collector, historian and enthusiast!
