From the estate of Eleanor Tilvikas Borek comes this closed-mouth size 10 Tête Jumeau bébé.  If you’ve been waiting for that very special doll, look no further.  She may be your dream come true. The pictures do not do her justice. She is simply drop-dead gorgeous!
She has the red-stamped Tête Jumeau head on blue-stamped Jumeau body ("Jumeau Medaille D'Or Paris").  This body also has the dual pull-cord mechanism.  (The cords are there, but the mechanism is not currently working.)
Closed mouth, blue paperweight eyes, and long auburn human hair wig on her original cork pate. Her facial painting is well executed with no visible flaws on her bisque after careful examination. Her body is all-original paint with no touch-ups that I could observe, with normal age/chipping to the paint and composition.
She came with this three-piece antique ecru silk gown with French lace and French metallic passementerie embellishment with hanging floral form on her outfit.  It may have been original to the doll. The silk is showing its age and is very fragile in many places, but displays beautifully and, with care, will last many years to come.
She has signed antique leather Jumeau shoes (note some age separation at the back seam), and antique socks and undergarments. Her real coral jewelry adds that nice touch to her, as well as her old/antique hat With replaced silk ribbons and embellishments.
She is quite the catch and would make a wonderful surprise to that certain somebody ... maybe for Valentine's Day? What better way of telling someone they are very special to you, than this extra special sweetheart of a doll?
IMPORTANT:
Besides the noteworthy issues mentioned above, EXPECT any antique doll (bisque/composition/leather/china/wood) to ALSO have:
(1) SIGNS OF AGE - for example: toned/crazed/chipped composition, minor wig pulls, loss of "hair" lashes on bisque heads, not-so-tight stringing, etc., and ...
(2) MINOR CONSERVATION WORK by previous owners/collectors - for example: reset eyes (in most cases!), repairs to wig, repairs to clothing, touch-ups on composition/finish/paint, etc.
SO ... Any MAJOR issues -- hairline crack, total repaint, etc. -- would be itemized above, but these normal age/conservation details are not.  They are to be expected.  Thank you.

It is with deep regret that -- after 14 years selling on eBay, and with 100% positive feedback -- I've had to change my return policy on dolls to "NO RETURNS, AND NO PARTIAL REFUNDS."
As often happens, it's the few bad apples out there who ruin it for the rest of us. These dishonest people will buy a doll, then try to improve or restore it ... not knowing what they're doing. And then, when they realize they've ruined the doll, they return it saying it was defective.  Or else they keep the doll and demand a "partial refund" based on the alleged defect -- which is another trending scam on eBay.
I sell these dolls for a living so,
my sincere apologies to you
-- the honest majority of eBay buyers -- that I can no longer afford to accept doll returns.  (Of course,

I do bend over backwards, attempting to disclose any noteworthy condition issues I can find or think of. But these are antique and vintage dolls -- so, please understand that

. There will always be some minor indication of their age, and it would be impossible to itemize every single pinhead-size stain on the outfit, or hairline scratch on the body.  Please expect these types of conditions with old dolls.
