Antique French Fashion Doll, 22" unmarked Barrois

Description

This doll has no chips or cracks to the bisque. Ears are pierced through the lobes. The head is just a little loose from gently pulling on it trying to get a picture of the mark which is very low on the neck and looks like a 9 or a circle & line. Appears to be pressed bisque, pale complexion , plump facial features, cork pate, cobalt blue glass eyes, delicately painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, solid bisque forearms , old canvas body with porcelain feet. A lovely doll, she stands 22" tall (stand not included) and has a human hair wig (not original) and a beautiful antique silk and velvet outfit with bustle and hat. I believe the doll's head is an antique, but the bisque is pretty smooth. I don't mean to misrepresent it and not being an expert on antique dolls, I've taken many pictures for you to decide, and dropped the price down to reproduction status even though I'm not sure it is a reproduction.  Thanks for looking!
