This charming,
6 1/4 inch tall,
fully jointed, antique bisque sockethead doll will make a great addition to an antique doll collection or dollhouse as he wears all his original,

, provincial costume. He is

along with the manufacturer's name:

within an oval

He has lovely features including nicely painted blue eyes, small closed
mouth, blushed cheeks and light brown eyebrows that match his thick, brown wig. beneath his black felt hat. He wears his
original French blue
, wool jacket with double row of gold buttons, fine antique gold embellishments and black velvet cuffs, matching vest, gathered challis wool knickers (trousers) with matching blue wool stockings, shirt collar and low-heeled, painted rust brown sabots (shoes).
