Josefina’s party dress was inspired by the fashions of women who visited from Mexico City wearing the latest European styles. It’s made of pale pink calico with a raised Empire waist and tabbed trim. Her fitted black Spencer jacket is as flattering as it is fashionable.
This outfit really is sweet in person. I just love the jacket. It’s a wool jacket, fully lined with button down front. Yes! Real buttonholes! The dress is so cheery with scalloped lace at the waist and hem of the full length skirt. The skirt has rows and rows of tiny tucks. You don’t realize the detail this has until you see it in person. Yours is new in original box and never been played with. This is old stock (pre-mattel) but it comes in new style box because I purchased this from American Girl Place NY and they made them change all the boxes during the transition from old to new style. I accept returns on items that are found to be not as described. I use stock photos for items that are NEW, NEVER REMOVED from ORIGINAL BOX, so they are just as manufacturer sent to me. Any authorized returns must be made within 3 days and postage is at buyers expense. Refund for item only, original cost of shipping cannot be refunded.
