AMERICAN GIRL Doll Josefina's Grinding Stones Pleasant Company Prototype Mano

These grinding stones were prototypes for the original American Girl / Pleasant Company grinding stones for the 18" historical doll Josefina.  The original grinding stones (Mano & Metate) were part of Josefina's Cocina Supplies.  Josefina would have used these stones to grind corn.
The stones were made as a prototype and are almost identical to the stones that became part of the set when the company was still Pleasant Company.  I found these at a rummage sale, and the woman said her sister used to work at American Girl and purchased these at a sale that was just for employees.  These stones are in a baggie that has 1998 written on it.
Both sides of the large stone have been photographed.  One side is flat.
