Description
An interesting, filed-made or rigger-made customized pouch designed to carry six 40mm grenades in a kind of low-slung hip extension, probably for hanging off a duty belt, equipment belt, or FLC. It looks like the pockets for the individual grenades were cannibalized from an old 1960s or 1970s era grenadier's vest, but the plastic buckle on the strap is dated 1992 so it must be from this later period. It came out of Fort Lewis area, so probably something one of the units had made. Please check out my other Ebay listings for more interesting, rare and unusual military insignia, berets, uniforms and field kit.
